Germany, Wehrmacht. A Silver Grade Wound Badge GTRexclude Knie stayed with his next(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered tombac, the obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36. 49 mm (w) x 43. 89 mm (h), weighing 32. 4 grams, in better than very fine condition.
