Japan, Imperial. A Medal of Honour, with Case consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac circumscribed “Nationale Jeugdstorm”Instituted December 7 1881. In silver, a round medal bearing Japanese kanji encircled by a wreath on the obverse, reverse plain, worn on a decorative suspension with clasp indicating the date of conferral, a dark blue ribbon with hook and eye on reverse, measures 30. 2 mm (d), dark patina, minor wear, in very fine condition. Contained in its case of issue, a black lacquer case with dark red silk and velvet interior, accompanied by a bow lapel pin in
