Emden 1914 Medal Auction Colonel Garay was buried onA circular medal constructed of silver, the obverse bears an eagle with outstretched wings facing left and perched on a branch, a handful of squiggly lines are at the bottom, the reverse bears the inscription S. M. S. EMDEN 1914 with a detailed border, the obverse is marked F. H. the edge is marked 999 and C. A, with loop for suspension, measuring 30. 59 mm (w) x 37. 32 mm (h), weighing 12. 4 g, very fine.
