Wines by KT Riesling Melva 2024 friulano tight-grained barriques and puncheons (16%Named after Grandma, Melva is a wild fermented Riesling inspired by exotic off dry wine styles of the world. With aromatic floral spice of blossom and quince, the palate is slippery and luscious. Created from the Peglidis vineyard, the handpicked fruit is handled oxidatively in the winery and is fermented 100% with indigenous yeast in twenty year old French oak barriques. While left to sit on lees in the oak for 4 months the wine is stirred regularly
