Instituted 1850 by King Friedrich August II of Saxony. (1914 1918 Issue). An extremely well preserved example of a Commanders Cross of the Albrecht Order, constructed of silver gilt with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a white enameled Christ Cross with gilded borders joined through the arms by a green and red enamel laurel wreath, the obverse presenting with a central medallion composed of a gilt
