The envelope was sent by Heinrich Gerdessen from Berlin Friedenau on August 1, 1929 to Henry M. Hedrick in Detroit, Michigan, and arrived in New York on August 5, 1929. It was carried by the airship L. Z. 127 Graf Zeppelin on its 1st America journey. The envelope contains a cutout from the Nazi
