Germany, Wehrmacht. A Marsh Pattern Camouflage Face Mask United Republic of Awarded in three classes: 1st(Wehrmacht Gesichtstarnmaske). A well preserved Wehrmacht issue camouflage face mask, constructed of multiple panels of cotton rayon blended cloth. The exterior is dyed in a classic Sumpftarnmuster (marsh swamp pattern) camouflage, with a mottle consisting of a primarily olive drab base overlaid by irregular splotches of brown and dark green with blurred edges, interspersed with dark green splinters.
