In silver gilt, with blue and white enamels and a crown suspension, obverse and reverse medallions bear the motto of the Order, which translates to It knows no descent. measuring at 55mm (w) x 80mm (h to top of crown suspension), on period neck ribbon, in extremely fine condition. Footnote: This Order was founded by King Frederick I on April 28, 1748. Apart from the Order of the Seraphim, it is the only other Order
