A round silver medal, the obverse depicting a rightward facing profile of Karl I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with inscription of FORTITUDINI (BRAVERY) within a laurel branch wreath and above crossed standards, on loop for suspension from its period original tri fold ribbon with magnetic metal hook and loop, designer marked on the obverse
